Dr. Jeremy Stewart
DDS, MSD
Meet Dr. Stewart, the proud Texas Aggie who graduated as salutatorian from China Spring High School and made his mark at Texas A&M as part of the Class of 2003. He earned a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science with honors, and after over a decade in the workforce, including six years in IT at A&M, he decided to chase his childhood dream of becoming an orthodontist — because who wouldn’t want to straighten smiles for a living?
While at the University of Texas School of Dentistry, he was the lone Texan chosen for the American Dental Association Foundation Predoctoral Dental Student Scholarship and graduated in the top 6% of his class as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He then completed his orthodontic residency and Masters of Science in Dentistry at Colorado University, becoming a Board Certified Orthodontist before bringing his talents to Stewart Elms Orthodontics, now carrying on the legacy as Stewart Smiles.
Beyond Smiles
Beyond the practice, Dr. Stewart and his wife Megan have been loving life in College Station since they were freshmen at A&M. Their two daughters, Addisen and Tenley, were born here, and the family is all about community — longtime members of Grace Bible Church, they even got hitched there back in 2004! Before dental school, they were active in various church roles, helping launch the Southwood Campus and singing and playing in the worship band.
The Stewarts are huge fans of Pine Cove Christian Camps, where they both worked, met, got engaged, and returned for nine summers to family camp. Dr. Stewart’s a big fan of snow skiing, and his family has embraced the slopes together, making memories on the powder.
Growing up hunting and fishing, he’s excited to get back into those adventures now that he’s home. Some of his favorite memories include elk hunting in Colorado with his dad, sailfishing in Costa Rica with his brother, and asking his future father-in-law for Megan’s hand while catfishing — thankfully, Travis said yes and even became one of Dr. Stewart’s fishing buddies!
The whole family is thrilled to be back in College Station, living in this amazing community and making smiles happen at Stewart Smiles!

For over 30 years, Dr. Troy Elms served the Bryan/College Station community with unwavering dedication, crafting countless beautiful smiles and building lifelong relationships with his patients. Dr. Elms’ commitment to providing patient-centered, innovative orthodontic care established a trusted foundation for the practice.
For four years, Dr. Jeremy Stewart worked side-by-side with Dr. Elms, learning from his expertise and sharing his passion for creating confident smiles. With Dr. Elms’ retirement, Dr. Stewart is proud to carry on his legacy, ensuring that the same level of excellence and care remains at the heart of Stewart Orthodontics. Today, we honor Dr. Elms by continuing his tradition of compassionate, personalized orthodontic care for every patient.
